Early warning folks – Our last quiz night was enjoyed by all and a great success – Donna at the Globe looked after us and Roger tested our knowledge.

A great time had by all – food and drinks and over 20 members present – a little tennis in-between a drink or two – a lovely lead up to the festive season.

Let’s wish for some nice weather over Christmas to get a few games in!

Hi All, been a month of problems following the site being hacked. It is taking a while to clear completely so our apologies for any inconvenience caused by the ‘diverts’ to other sites that were happening – be assured it is not your PC.

Anyone seeing any odd behaviour on the website please let me know – we now have a company called Sucuri who fix any issues.

Table Tennis Doubles Tournament

Sunday 27th October at Misterton Village Hall Unity Lane.

Come and join us in a fun competition!

Tournament team selection 13:30hrs – start time 14:00hrs

• Pairs will be allocated on the day by random selection so don’t worry about finding a partner.
• £8 entry fee for tea and table tennis (includes tea/coffee, cake/sandwiches)
• Spectators – £4.50 for tea and sandwiches etc (available from 3pm onwards) 
• Prize for winners and runners up. 
• The cut-off date for entries is 20th October.

Please bring your own food to barbecue together with any accompaniments and extra drinks you may require. The club will provide the barbecue and Pimms will be available.

Please sign your name on the list in the clubhouse to give the committee an idea of numbers for catering purposes.

Wimbledon 2019 Ticket Allocation for Misterton Tennis Club

(Wimbledon Championships are from Monday 1^st to Sun 14^th July)

Dear Members,

A big thank you to all the members of Misterton Tennis Club who kindly opted in to the Wimbledon Ballot for 2019 (and have paid their membership fees for 2019). Your opt in makes a big difference to how many tickets get allocated to our club, and we are pleased to announce that this year we have 7 pairs of tickets for this coming Wimbledon season.

We will be doing the draw for these tickets on Sunday 5^th May at 11am in the Misterton tennis clubhouse. If you are interested in winning a ticket, please either:-

Check your diary to see which dates you can make and come along to the draw

If you don’t wish to attend the draw but would like to be considered for a ticket, please email me your ticket choices in order of preference: 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd choices etc or fill in preferences on the Wimbledon Ticket sheet in the clubhouse before 5th May.
