Regular Club sessions (free balls and floodlights where necessary) are as follows :

Sundays 10am to 12pm

Monday afternoons (over 50s) 2pm – 4pm

Monday evenings from 6.30pm

Wednesdays from 6.30pm depending on coaching courses which will take precedence.

Ladies Friday mornings, 10pm – 12pm

Friday evenings from 6.30 pm (NEW)

Juniors can play Monday to Friday before 6pm

Coaching – Junior /Adult coaching Wednesday 2.30pm – 6.30pm – both courts but may extend until 8pm depending on take up.

From May to August, Home League Matches are normally played on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Junior matches are normally played on Sunday afternoons (not every week).  Check notice board for details.

Footwear

Please note that, to avoid damage to the courts, appropriate non-marking footwear must be worn when playing.

In the winter when wearing wellingtons or boots to cross the muddy field clean them on the scraper and avoid leaving mud on the court surface or in the clubhouse.

Court Booking

Misterton Tennis Club have a new booking system!

Members will have received an email inviting them to join our online booking system, hosted by Skedda. Once you have registered and set up an account, you can book a court by clicking the link below

You can use the system on your android phone or iphone through an app. Search for Skedda in your app store.

Certain times are blocked out for social, coaching and matches.

Access

Entry to the courts is protected by a padlock. 

Members may purchase their own key by contacting the Secretary.

The cost is £10 which covers the deposit and key cutting.

Visitors

Non-members can also access the Skedda system on line or through the app and view the booking schedule. If they wish to book a court they can do so by contacting the club through the email provided on the booking site.

There is a session fee for one hour play of £5 (one hour maximum per booking) for non-members.

Non-members can book up to two sessions a week and can book up to two days ahead.

There is a key in the key safe near the gate. The code to open it will be provided by the Secretary, the key can then be used to open the gate. 

After use the key must be returned to the key safe and the safe relocked.

Prospective Members

If you are considering joining the club you are warmly invited to contact the secretary and attend one of the social tennis sessions to see if you would like to join.

The club will allow prospective members to come along free of charge for up to three sessions.

Guests of Members

Guests of members are welcome to play. Each member can bring along one guest to a booked session. There is a charge of £3 to be paid by the member to cover the guest.

Payment can be made by the member by Bacs to the Misterton Tennis club account after booking the court. 

Floodlights.  

£1 coins are required for the use of the floodlights.

£1 buys 20mins playing time.

All lights must be switched off by 10pm (9pm on Sundays & Bank Holidays)
